This riding school was built at the beginning of the 20th century, and was part of the Royal Stables, annexed to the walls of the Almohad fortress. This is a large rectangular roofed enclosure. The floor is covered with albero sand and earth while the walls have been covered with white plaster in order to match the rest of the Royal Stables.
The building is supported by a metallic structure and walls of finely arranged stone. It has high windows leading onto Postrera Street and small windows facing the courtyard.
The Andalusian horse was born between these walls and even to this day equestrian events are still held regularly.
