In the next stage of the tour, visitors pass the baths constructed under Alphonse XI for his beloved doña Leonor and then go through a small courtyard which was used as a cesspit during the period in which Alcázar was used as a prison. The Patio Morisco (Moorish Courtyard), influenced by Mudejar Muslim art, can also be visited. It is located on the western side of the building and contains some preserved remains of the old palace structure.
