Corridor or Gallery
The large gallery can be accessed through the pointed arch door on the right of the statue of Alphonse X the Wise. From this point, visitors will begin to see magnificence of the royal place.
Visitors can view the central courtyard — known as the Moorish Courtyard — which can be seen from the balconies. On the left, there is a small corridor with stairs leading to the Torre de los Leones (Lions’ Tower). The Keep Tower can be accessed via theses stairs. In this little corridor adjacent to the gallery, visitors can also view fragments of antique flooring of the original castle which have been set into the wall.
